The 10th Annual Floyd County Tractor Fun Run was held on August 20, 2016, and welcomed nearly 200 tractors for another memorable day of fellowship and community support. Participants gathered at Arlie Thompson's Farm, where the ride officially began at 10:00 a.m.
The procession traveled through the scenic countryside of Floyd County, showcasing tractors of all makes, models, and generations while celebrating the area's rich agricultural heritage. Midway through the ride, participants gathered at Ms. Minnie West's Farm for a traditional pig pickin' lunch. The stop also provided an opportunity for attendees to admire the impressive display of tractors and enjoy fellowship with fellow enthusiasts.
Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, participants, and supporters, the Floyd County Tractor Fun Run was able to donate $7,000 to the Medical Charities of Floyd County after expenses. This contribution reflects the continued success of the event and its commitment to giving back to the local community.
