This year, the engines will start, but the roar will feel hollow. A profound,
heavy sorrow hangs over this ride as we face the painful reality of moving
forward without our dear friend and Coordinator, Mike Carr. On April 9, 2026,
Mike went home to be with his Lord and Savior, leaving behind an agonizing
absence and a legacy woven into the very fabric of everything we do. He was
bigpart of our planning meetings and a constant, reassuring presence on the
ground.Mike never hesitated to take on the hardest tasks, pouring his soul into
ensuring the ride’s success. The stillness where his presence used to be is a devastating reminder of what we have lost. This year’s ride is solemnly dedicated to Mike’s memory
Mike, the road ahead feels incredibly empty without you in the lineup, and your absence leaves a gaping hole in our hearts that simply can’t be filled. Yet, as we start our engines through the tears, your legacy rolls on with us.
Get ready to feel the rumble and join a cause that drives straight to the heart!
This year, the Floyd County Tractor Fun Run is revving its engines with a powerful purpose: to uplift the futures of two incredibly brave boys, Brady Donahue and Hammond Taylor. While these young warriors show us the true meaning of courage every single day, their families are facing an astronomical financial mountain. Let’s come together as a community, fire up our tractors, and turn our collective horsepower into hope, healing, and life-changing support for these two amazing families!
